What Bahá’ís believe
The Bahá’í Faith is an independent world religion founded by Bahá’u’lláh. Its teachings offer a spiritual vision for both individual life and the progress of society.
A short introduction
Bahá’ís believe that throughout history God has sent divine Educators—including Abraham, Krishna, Zoroaster, Moses, Buddha, Jesus and Muḥammad. Bahá’u’lláh taught that their religions come from the same Source and are successive chapters in one unfolding religion from God.
Bahá’u’lláh’s writings address the nature of the soul, the purpose of life, justice, peace and the relationships that bind individuals and communities together.

Bahá’u’lláh publicly declares His mission and calls humanity towards unity, justice and peace.
1920
Clara and Hyde Dunn arrive in Sydney, beginning a new chapter in the history of the Faith in Australia.
1967
The local Bahá’í community is established and begins decades of worship, education, interfaith friendship and service.
